Inferno is C.O.P.S.' Firefighter.
After the great earthquake and fire of '98 and the passage of the mandatory Teflon-coated building law, there simply wasn't much call for firefighters in San Francisco. The C.O.P.S., however, had ample need of a brawny individual who was willing to enter burning buildings and chop down doors with an axe.
When the word came down that the C.O.P.S. were looking for a highly skilled, energetic fireman to join their team, Inferno answered the call faster than someone flicking a butane lighter! Needless to say, he has been extinguishing the Crooks' criminal sparks ever since!
