Character Highlights[]

The Case of the Thieving Robots[]

COPS File #66414. in The Case of the Thieving Robots, Brian received a toy robot from his father for his birthday, and decides to call it "Rocky the Robot". While Brian took a nap on the living room couch, the robot came to life, stole a valuable Leprechaun statue and escaped out the window using a built-in parachute.

Brian used his skateboard to give chase and tracked him down to an abandoned toy factory. Upon entering the place, Brian tied a string from a ball of whool to a post so he could find his way back out. He stumbled onto a en entire gang of thieving robots, created by Dr. Badvibes. Unfortunately, Brian was captured and put into a cage by Badvibes. Brian managed to befriend his guard, the robot Buzzbomb, who released the boy from his prison.

Meanwhile, Brian's father and his fellow C.O.P.S. officer Sundown had found the trail of string Brian had left. They entered Badvibes' toy factory, where Buzzbomb and Brian were on the run from the toy robots as well as Berserko. LongArm arrived just in time to save his son from being recaptured. The C.O.P.S. called for backup, and when the two men and Brian confronted Badvibes and Berserko, Brian got the honor of telling the crooks they were under arrest. With a little help from Buzzbomb, Brian retrieved the Leprechaun shaped O'Malley family heirloom.

At C.O.P.S. headquarters, Brian realized it had been reckless of him to chase the toy robot into such a dangerous situation. His father told him to leave the crimefighting to the adults, for the time being. And Bulletproof presented Brian with a special present: Rocky the Robot, reprogrammed to be good by Badvibes as part of his prison sentence.

The Case of the Big Frame Up[]

COPS File #27423. In "The Case of the Big Frame-Up," Brian and his grandfather Mickey O'Malley visited a rare coin show. When Berserko and Nightshade burst out the door with two bags full of stolen coins, Brian encouraged his grandfather to go after them. Mickey managed to retrieve the loot, and when the C.O.P.S. arrived, took the opportunity to submit his application to join them. Brian stated that his grandfather could probably teach all of the current C.O.P.S. a thing or two about crime fighting and was just as disappointed as Mickey when Commissioner Highwater refused him on account of his age.

Mickey soon got a job as a security guard, only to be framed by Nightshade and accused of stealing a shipment of fur coats. Brian visited his grandfather in jail, convinced of his innocence, and was instructed by Mickey to tell his father to look into Nightshade's accomplice J.J. Parker. Brian contacted Bullseye on the vidfone, but ran off when he recognized Berserko's car. Overhearing Berserko and Nightshade's next target, Brian tipped Bulletproof that the crooks were off to a fund raising lunch on the giant blimp. Brian's father was one of the C.O.P.S. to clean up the case, and soon Mickey O'Malley was released from jail.

The Case of the Cool Caveman[]

COPS File #8974. In "The Case of the Cool Caveman", Brian (for some reason brunette this episode) wanted to be the first to see a special exhibit of a recently discovered prehistoric Caveman, frozen in ice, which was being transported to the city museum. His father was worried about him, as he had recently started at a new school and hadn't made any friends yet.

Meanwhile Big Boss and Dr. Badvibes concocted a plan to have Berserko take the Caveman's place, seeing that Berserko and the Caveman looked uncannily similar. Berserko could help them steal all the gold and jewels in the museum from the inside. Berserko was able to temporarily tie up the COPS guarding the frozen Caveman while Badvibes thawed the Caveman, but the Caveman promptly escaped into the city. Brian happened to spot him and, fearing that the prehistoric man would get lost, decided to follow him. The Caveman was bewildered and frightened by the strange world he found himself in, but the boy managed to befriend him and calm him down. But both were immediately captured by Berserko and his new Bags a' C.O.P.S. cannon, and taken to a secret hideout. Brian was left in a hanging cage while the Caveman was chained up against the wall. Buzzbomb was tasked to guard them while Berserko took the place of the caveman in the museum. Brian came up with a plan to escape, using the brawn of his friend the caveman and Badvibes' nearby computer control system, lighting up the building with the letters SOS. This attracted the attention of Longarm and Hardtop - out looking for them - and they entered the hideout and freed Brian and the Caveman, who revealed the Crooks' plan. The COPS showed up in force at the museum to make arrests, capturing a number of teh Crooks, but Badvibes and Berserko escaped. After the Crooks' plan had been foiled Longarm watched his son goofing off with the Caveman and no longer worried that his son wouldn't be able to make friends at his new school.

The Case of the Stashed Cash[]

COPS File #392027. In "The Case of the Stashed Cash," Brian accompanied his grandfather to a TV interview with Whitney Morgan, about a notorious criminal Mickey had captured decades ago, Suds Sparkle. The case still held one big mystery, as a part of the loot of Suds' crimes was never recovered - five million dollars' worth. The only clue Mickey had recovered was a piece of soap with a map carved in it. Coincidentally, Rock Krusher had been Suds' cellmate. He knew the loot was stashed in the Westside Laundry, he just didn't know where inside the Laundry. The Big Boss wanted this loot and ordered Krusher and Buttons McBoomBoom to  retrieve it. Krusher and Buttons tried to steal the soap from Mickey, but the map was worn off in the process. Krusher and Buttons decided to kidnap Mickey and Brian instead, so Mickey could walk them through laundry personally. At the precinct, Barricade reassured Longarm they would rescue his family, and Whitney Morgan arrived and handed over what was left of the soap - Bulletproof quickly saw there was a key inside it which had the words Westside Laundry written on it, giving them a valuable clue. At the laundry, Brian attempted to escape but was cornered by Buttons, only to be rescued by Barricade and arrested by Longarm. Back inside, Mickey realized the missing cash was hidden below a particular laundry machine and tricked Krusher into moving it by crashing into it, revealing a locked cash box beneath. He arrested Krusher with his old 'lucky cuffs.' Reunited, the O'Malleys and their friends used the key to unlock the cash box and discovered the missing five million dollars. Krusher and Buttons McBoomBoom were sent to prison to work in the prison laundry, while Mickey and Longarm were complimented for recovering the missing cash and solving the last puzzle in the Suds Sparkle case.

The Case of the Boy Who Cried Sea Monster[]

COPS File #41045. "The Case of the Boy Who Cried Sea Monster," during a spree of mysterious jewel thefts at the harbour, Brian goes fishing in a small jet boat while his father, Hardtop and Bulletproof investigate the latest incident. Pulling out the gold pocket watch his grandfather gave him to check the time, he is suddenly attacked by a sea monster, which eats his watch and swims away toward an island no one's ever seen before. Brian follows and steps out onto the island but it begins to shake and he gets back in his boat in a hurry. He goes back to tell his father.

The island, of course, was a hideout for Dr Badvibes and his newest crime creation, a mechanical sea monster he's been sending out to attack the ships carrying valuables, particularly jewels. He is pleased at his creation's latest haul. Meanwhile Brian tries to tell Longarm and Hardtop what happened but they dismiss him , suggesting he's just making up stories so he won't get in trouble for losing his grandfather's watch. He tries to point the strange island out to them but it's vanished. They go back to investigating and guarding a boatload of diamonds. Badvibes sends Rock Krusher to a dockside fireworks factory to create a diversion and Krusher gleefully sets the fireworks off, Longarm goes to investigate and the sea monster attacks the boat, stealing its shipment of diamonds out from right under Hardtop's nose. Brian tries to follow the sea monster again and succeeds in taking a number of pictures of it and the island, he takes these back to his father who dismisses him again. He drops the photos on the deck in anger and sets off to go to the island and prove he's not lying. Badvibes and Krusher recognise him from their past encounters and capture him, hanging him in a cage over the sea monster's submarine resting pool.

Back at the harbour, Longarm dives down the side of the ship that was attacked and finds a metal tooth in the hull at the site of the hole, coming up he tells Hardtop he feels bad for disbelieving his son. Bulletproof arrives and hands him the photos Brian took, having found them on the deck, and they work out that Badvibes is behind it all. They head out looking for Brian and the island, having no luck, and Longarm proposes they try luring the sea monster instead. They go visit Whitney Morgan at her apartment and borrow some jewels, and she and Longarm head out in a boat with the jewels on display.

In the island hideout, Brian manages to escape his cage and get hold of the sea monster's remote control. He makes it attack Krusher and the submarine hideout starts to sink. But the sea monster detects Whitney's jewels and heads out to steal them. Brian sees his father and Whitney are in trouble and heads out too in his little boat, taking the remote with him. The sea monster attacks Longarm's boat, Bullseye comes to the rescue in his helicopter and Longarm uses his power cuff to be airlifted off the boat in pursuit of the sea monster when it starts swimming away., having snatched Whitney's jewels. But Brian deactivates the sea monster, father and son are reunited and Longarm apologises for not believing him.

Badvibes' hideout sinks, but he and Krusher escape.

The sea monster finds a new home at the city zoo, and becomes a 'reformed character' - mostly.
